Needed…..One Cool Operations Manager (This is not your mother’s production manager position) We are SAS of Luxemburg Wisconsin in our 35th year of manufacturing custom designed material handling forks and attachments for the salvage, quarry and construction industries. Over the past few months we have launched several exciting initiatives and we are looking for the right individual to lead our company’s manufacturing operations into the future. While our external focus is to build on our excellent reputation in the auto recycling and quarry mining industries throughout North America, our internal focus will be to continue to innovate our products through a talented team of bright and passionate people. While our world is Volvo, John Deere, Komatsu and other material handling giants our back yard is a fun, laid back setting in Northeastern Wisconsin where we take work and fun seriously. This position will lead our efforts in production, engineering, supplier management and quality systems. We need you to bring your experience, organization and skills in leading collaborative teams dedicated to resolving our customer’s challenges. Of particular interest will be your perspective for improving lean practices in a continuous improvement environment. While you will be reporting to the CEO, you will have great latitude to develop your approach in taking SAS to a new level. We will also depend on your perspective in helping to develop new products and will also look to you for input on our growth plans. It is our intent to find someone who will grow with us and as we say, it is not what you know that will go far with us but who you are. We have the standard job description stuff, compensation potential and fancy company literature to put in front of you at the right time, but in the meantime call us to start the conversation….we’ll both know how to move forward from there if the conditions are right.
